Medical Research Version

The initial ST+D Wireless PWV system is aimed at medical researchers. It is based around a PC providing visual indication of the waveforms and analysis and storage of the results.

This system uses disposable electrodes and the same easy to use wireless system which removes the need for awkward cables.

Full graphical presentation is provided over 10 pulses with 3 forms of analysis as well as a single overall figure for PWV.

A number of clinical trails can easily be performed, some of which are already being undertaken by ST+D. These can include :

• Hypertensive drugs.
• Early stage screening of diabetes.
• Lifestyle feedback (food and exercise).
